Here is how you add a subcategorie under any of your categories.

1. Add a category for your products

A. first go to "products" in that tab click on "categories"

B.In the left of the page you can fill out the Name of the category and the slug.

Both should be the same. Go to the bottom and click the blue button that says "Add new product category".

2.Go back to products and add all of the products you want in the category. You do this by:

A. clicking on the product you want in the category.

B. On the right side there should be a box that says Product categories. Check the box that shows the

category you just made. then clcik the blue button that says "update" slightly above the product category
box.

3. Adding the sub category to your menu.

A. Go to "apprearence" then "menus".

B. On the left hand side there will be a white menu with dropdown when you click on them. click on "custom link".

C. Type in /index.php/product-category/

D. on the same lin after the "/" with no space inbetween the "/" put the name of your category with a dash instead
of a space if categories are two or more words.

Ex. If you want charms type this /index.php/product-category/charms/
OR
Ex. If you want blue charms type this /index.php/product-category/blue-charms/

E. Then add a "/" at the end of the URL.

F. Add the "Link Text" which is what will appear on the menu sub item.

G. Click on "Add To Menu".

4. The menu item will appear at the bottom of the the menu structre under all of the one that are already there.

A. click and drag the menu item where you would like it to be based off the menu.

Ex. If you want "charms" as a subcategory of jewerly (which it is) you will move it under the jewerly box
and over to the right to make it a subcategory.

So for putting a product category under the sub category Charms. You will move it slightly to the right of the charms box.

5. then click "Save Menu" at the top right of the page right above the menu structure.

6. Go to your site and look at your newly created subcategory.
